I did not pray<\/p>\n

For the souls of the murderers<\/p>\n

As I had prayed<\/p>\n

In 1999, for the souls of the pilots<\/p>\n

Of the aeroplanes<\/p>\n

Bombing my child.<\/p>\n

I prayed<\/p>\n

For my own and the soul<\/p>\n

Of my friend Adnan.<\/p>\n

To save our children<\/p>\n

From killing each other.<\/p>\n

My God<\/p>\n

Thy will be done<\/p>\n

On earth<\/p>\n

Where graves lie in their silence<\/p>\n

And someone in Your name<\/p>\n

Doing Your will<\/p>\n

In this moment<\/p>\n

Pulls the trigger<\/p>\n
