The Biber Collection and Contest were promoted on 14 November 2018 at the Kosovo Art Exchange<\/u> gallery in South Mitrovica.<\/p>\n

Jasna Radulovi\u0107<\/strong> from Zagreb, who took part in both Biber Contest, Verime Zimberi Beluli<\/strong> from Ki\u010devo, Andrea Popov Mileti\u0107<\/strong> from Novi Sad, whose stories appear in the second collection, and Katarina Mili\u0107evi\u0107<\/strong> on behalf of the organisers of the contest spoke about reconciliation through artistic expression and the short story.
\nThe moderator was Aurela Kadriu<\/strong> from Pristina. The promotion was locally organised by Gentrit Behramaj<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At the promotion, we discussed both the personal and social responsibility of artists in the reconciliation process in the region, and how activities such as this one can make a contribution. The Biber Short Story Contest about Reconciliation, featuring a multilingual approach, aims to motivate artists to think and create on this topic.<\/p>\n

As announced, the 3rd Biber Contest will be opened in January, but it will be slightly different from the previous two in that it will not be limited to reconciliation as a single word and will instead be broader in scope.<\/p>\n
