{"id":244198,"date":"2025-03-11T09:20:23","date_gmt":"2025-03-11T08:20:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nenasilje.org\/?p=244198"},"modified":"2025-03-25T11:18:02","modified_gmt":"2025-03-25T10:18:02","slug":"we-come-in-peace-book-promotion-and-photography-exhibition-in-gorazde","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nenasilje.org\/en\/we-come-in-peace-book-promotion-and-photography-exhibition-in-gorazde\/","title":{"rendered":"We Come in Peace: Book Promotion and Photography Exhibition in Gora\u017ede"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, 17 March 2025 at 7 pm, the Culture Centre in Gora\u017ede will host the presentation of the book <em>We Come in Peace: War Veterans in Peacebuilding<\/em> at the Youth Centre Hall, followed by an exhibition of photographs by Nenad Vukosavljevi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>Slavko Klisura (Gora\u017ede) will moderate a discussion about the book with \u0110oko Pup\u010devi\u0107 (\u0160amac), Mirko Ze\u010devi\u0107 Tadi\u0107 (Br\u010dko), Nenad Vukosavljevi\u0107 (Belgrade) and Suljo \u0110ogo (Gora\u017ede).<\/p>\n<p>The book collects the experiences gained by the Centre for Nonviolent Action over more than twenty years of working with war veterans and has two parts: the first part looks into the potential of war veterans for peacebuilding and the experiences gathered in this field, and the second part focuses on the people who make this work possible.<\/p>\n<p>The book chapters were contributed by Amer Deli\u0107, Ivana Franovi\u0107, Ned\u017ead Novali\u0107 and Nenad Vukosavljevi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>The editors were Ivana Franovi\u0107, Davorka Turk and Martina Fischer.<\/p>\n<p>The electronic edition of the book is available for <a href=\"https:\/\/nenasilje.org\/en\/new-book-we-come-in-peace-war-veterans-in-peacebuilding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">download<\/a> free of charge on our website and printed copies will be available to visitors at the presentation.<\/p>\n<p>The accompanying photography exhibition will be on display until 24 March 2025.
