We all have our social circle of friends and people we know and these are mostly people whose views and attitudes align with our own. At the CNA training, I met people whose views and attitudes were diametrically opposed to my own (but also those who thought like I did, of course). Still, despite all that, our communication was surprisingly excellent! I am naturally curious and extroverted, so I really enjoyed meeting so many different people, with such a wide range of opinions and ways of thinking, through excellent workshops, and all of it peppered with lots of socialising and even more humour, both outside and inside the workshops. What I like about trainings like this one is that you learn a lot, both in the formal and the informal part, and you get to spend time with people from countries that you would not have contact with or meet people from otherwise.
If CNA ever invites you to attend their training, RUN to fill out the application form and hope you’ll be selected, because there’s strong competition. All you need to bring along is an open mind and a desire to socialise, and you won’t regret it.
