My most important experience from the CNA training was a feeling of completeness. Spiritual, mental, genuine and cathartic. Over the 10 days, we evolved both as a collective and as individuals to unexpected levels. This was a training where I stepped out of my comfort zone, bared my vulnerability and shared my life story with seemingly complete strangers. Later, over a very short time period, these people became my friends for life. That fact that we still have a Viber group where we share in each other’s joys and sorrows speaks for itself. This experience connected us irrespective of nationality, age, gender, religion. So much diversity at all levels is rarely seen, and at the same time achieving such cohesion as we had is even more difficult. I’ll remember this training as some of the happiest days in my life, because I felt complete, purified, aware and in touch with my emotions throughout the 10 days. I never had an extended family, but during the time we spent together, I found out that a family can be completely different people.
If you are prepared to lower your barriers, take off the shackles of transgenerational attitudes and prejudice, this is the place for you. Forget your phone, the internet, the crazy times we live in and work on your introspection skills. You’ll be grateful to every person for everything they will make you feel. From oceans of sorrow to seas of laughter and eddies of uncertainty. It will never be simple. It will be an experience you will remember, keep in your heart, your head and carefully carry in your hands. Until you decide to hand over to some new generations the knowledge, truths and skills you gained at the training.
