On Human Rights Day, 10 December, a public debate on the Peacebuilding Strategy was held at the Parobrod Cultural Institute in Belgrade.
The Peacebuilding Strategy was a proposal from the Centre for Nonviolent Action for a national policy of the Republic of Serbia, but after many months of being ignored, we decided to present the document as a gift to the citizens of Serbia in the hopes that it may one day be considered and adopted by national policy making institutions.
Participants in the debate about the Peacebuilding Strategy included Novica Kostić, a war veteran from Vlasotinac and our long-standing partner Edin Ramulić from Prijedor also a veteran and an activist of the Culture of Memory Foundation, Jelena Krstić from the Humanitarian Law Centre, Dobrica Veselinović from the “Ne davimo Beograd” organisation and Nenad Vukosavljević from the Centre for Nonviolent Action. Katarina Milićević, a member of the CNA team, was the moderator.
