As the victor, a member of the majority, a victim of the previous system – he chose the most difficult path of reconciliation – by rejecting revenge. He became a symbol of the persistent struggle for freedom, a struggle he refused to ever give up, because freedom was paramount.
Ten Days in the Homeland of Humanity – A Study Visit to the Republic of South Africa
A group of 11 peace activists from the former Yugoslavia visited the Republic of South Africa from 29 January to 8 February. We visited two cities: Johannesburg and Cape Town, where we met and talked with people, went to museums and tried to find out more about the past and present aspects of life in this country.
