Ivana Franović from the Biber Team, Anuška Minovska, whose story Obitelj strica Akija [Uncle Aki’s Family] won third place, Danilo Lučić, whose story Frakture [Fractures] was also included in the collection, and Qerim Ondozi, translator and associate of the Biber Team spoke at the promotion held at the Philosophy Faculty in Tetovo. An exhibition of photographs accompanying the research project “On the Trail of Danube Swabians in Vojvodina” opened tonight, on 12 December, at KC “Parobrod” in Belgrade.
The photo exhibition, that accompanies the research of the same title ”On the Trail of the Danube Swabians in Vojvodina ˮ, will open on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at 7 P.M., at the Parobrod Cultural Centre in Belgrade, 6a Kapetan-Mišina Str.
Moving away from a focus on the enemy and honouring all victims irrespective of which side they were on is one of the missions of this project that works towards constructive dialogue by promoting a culture of nonviolence with a view to building lasting peace.
