The photo exhibition, that accompanies the research of the same title ”On the Trail of the Danube Swabians in Vojvodina ˮ, will open on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at 7 P.M., at the Parobrod Cultural Centre in Belgrade, 6a Kapetan-Mišina Str.
The authors of the research are Helena Rill and Marijana Stojčić and the authors of the photographs are Nenad Vukosavljević and Nedžad Horozović.
What happened to the German ethnic minority after the Second World War? Where are our former neighbours? What was happening to them? Is it still a topic which is not being discussed? Unease, disbelief or „they got what they deserved “? What learning points can and must we learn from it? – these are just some of the questions the research ”Following the Traces of Danube Swabians in Vojvodinaˮ opened.
The authors of photographs are Nedžad Horozović and Nenad Vukosavljević.
Ana Bu, the witness of those times, historian Zoran Janjetović, Guido Štajn, from the Association of Danube Swabians of Apatin, director of the Austrian Cultural Forum in Serbia Johanes Irschik and the authors Nedžad Horozović and Helena Rill will speak at the exhibition opening.
