Youth Initiative to mark unmarked sites of atrocities in Croatia
The Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Croatia, with the assistance and support of the activist group Unmarked Sites of Atrocities, which has marked 58 unmarked sites of atrocities in Bosnia and Herzegovina to date, has started marking unmarked sites of atrocities in Croatia.

We paid our respects to victims killed in Mrkonjić Grad
On 10 October 2018, members of the Centre for Nonviolent Action Sarajevo-Belgrade, together with some of our partners, war veterans and former members of HVO, the Army of RBiH and VRS, attended the commemoration to honour Serb victims killed in Mrkonjić Grad.
Proceedings from the International Conference on “Reconciling Histories?!”
The conference was divided into six sessions, with a field trip to Zavidovići where we met with war veterans that CNA has been cooperating with in peacebuilding activities for years.
Peacebuilding Training for War Veterans: How to Cool Down the “Cold War”
Peacebuilding training for war veterans from BiH, Croatia and Serbia, held at Mount Jahorina from 5 to 8 July 2018. The training brought together 17 war veterans, former members of HVO, the Army of BiH, VRS, HV, VJ, JNA and the National Defence of APZB.

International Conference “Reconciling Histories!?” Held in Sarajevo
The Conference focused on the experience of different countries in the postwar process of seeking justice, its challenges and taboos, the role of historical myths and narratives in the reconcilitaiton process, understanding the importance of nonviolence and its limits.
War Veterans in Trusina: Compassion Is Not Limited by Ethnicity
War veterans from the region, former members of the RBiH Army, HVO, VRS, HV, VJ and JNA, attended today’s commemoration in Trusina.
Promotion of the Biber 02 Collection in Tetovo
Ivana Franović from the Biber Team, Anuška Minovska, whose story Obitelj strica Akija [Uncle Aki’s Family] won third place, Danilo Lučić, whose story Frakture [Fractures] was also included in the collection, and Qerim Ondozi, translator and associate of the Biber Team spoke at the promotion held at the Philosophy Faculty in Tetovo. Blerim Jashari, a peace activist from Tetovo, was the moderator at the promotion.
